At a time when digital technology has enabled an “always on” flow of media that constantly vies for our attention, trying to tell us what to think, do, and consume, the simple act of going for a walk, clearing the mind, and observing the everyday interactions that take place around water bodies is a powerful, therapeutic gesture.
